P machine tightness tester
Precision fuel line leak testing station. Testing is carried out using equipment from the market leader in leak testing – the ATEQ tester. The station can inspect additional fuel line fittings, as well as read or print barcode and DataMatrix labels.
Intended use of the device
The main purpose of the machine is to test fuel hoses for leaks and flow.
Additionally, the machine can be equipped with:
- detection of hose assembly components;
- measurement of electrical and short-circuit resistance of additional heating hoses;
- labelling with labels confirming the printed code’s compliance.
Description of operation:
Once the operator has placed the parts into the sockets and initialised the cycle, an automatic process consisting of the following operations is performed:
- closing of the hose clamping jaws;
- *optional inspection of the components being fitted;
- start of leak and/or flow test;
- *optional start of electrical test;
- pneumatic marking;
- *optional printing of a label with a barcode and measurement result + verification of the printed label;
- opening of the cable clamping jaws.

OPERATOR PANEL
The control elements and 7" display allow the selection of the appropriate reference, monitoring of the process status and control of the machine’s individual drives.
ATEQ LEAK TESTING DEVICE
A device for precise measurement of leak tightness and flow, designed for automatic or semi-automatic operation. It determines the leak rate through precise measurement of pressure drop, with a wide measurement range for leak rate (ΔP): from 5 kPa to 1 MPa. The device can be programmed with up to 8 test procedures and can communicate with external devices via the RS232 protocol and digital inputs/outputs.
LEAK TEST PANEL
Leak test panel customised to the customer’s requirements and the specific hose. Equipped with a set of clamps to secure the hose and a pneumatic marking mechanism. Optionally, the panel may include a set of sensors to monitor the presence and correct installation of components mounted on the hose and/or sockets designed for measuring electrical and short-circuit resistance.
SAFETY LEVEL
In accordance with the customer’s guidelines and in compliance with the recommendations of the PN-EN ISO 12100 standard, the machine is equipped (depending on the type of process performed) with a range of technical safety measures such as: an emergency stop switch, a light curtain, and a two-hand control panel.
Benefits for the customer/user
- precise determination of leak volume by measuring pressure drop;
- checking the correctness of pipe installation in terms of tightness and patency;
- additional inspection of cable assemblies to ensure the correct installation of components and/or electrical parameters;
- minimisation of the risk of leaks or blockages in the cable during operation.
