25079 - Laser cutting machine for car seat components

The machine is designed for the precise cutting of holes in polyester fleece (elements used to reinforce foam in car seats). It offers an alternative to traditional presses, significantly increasing production flexibility.

How it works:

The operator places the material on a two-position rotary table. After the table rotates, the workpiece enters a sealed chamber where two laser heads cut out the programmed shapes. At the same time, the extraction system effectively removes the fumes generated during processing. The finished component leaves the work area during the next cycle of the table, which simultaneously feeds in a new sheet of material.

Machine design:

  • Construction: Rigid steel frame with a fully enclosed cutting area and a secured service door.
  • Positioning system: Precision Fibro rotary table.
  • Tooling: Interchangeable pallets with sockets manufactured using 3D printing technology, perfectly matching the geometry of the workpiece (capable of processing various part numbers).
  • Laser technology: Two KEYENCE marking machines mounted on Cartesian manipulators with FESTO servo drives.
  • Filtration: High-performance fume extraction system by BOFA.

Benefits for the customer/user:

  • Flexibility: Cutting any shape without the need for costly die production.
  • Time savings: Instant changeover and a short implementation process for new product lines.
  • Clean production: Automatic collection of waste directly into containers (no accumulation of scrap on the machine).
  • Efficiency: Simultaneous processing of two workpieces thanks to the use of two laser heads.
