24046 – Coating Mixing and Pumping System
The system is designed to collect various types of coatings from IBC containers, transfer them to intermediate tanks with automatic volume monitoring, mix them, and then automatically deliver them to day tanks according to current process demand.
The volume of the medium in all tanks is monitored by radar sensors. To further improve system safety, the storage tank is additionally fitted with limit vibration level sensors. The low-level sensor stops the agitator, while the high-level sensor cuts off the liquid supply.
Operators can monitor the current volume in each tank at any time via the HMI panel. Control stations located next to the day tanks also provide convenient access to the system’s key functions.
How It Works
The system allows:
- transfer of the contents of an IBC container to the intermediate tank at a capacity of up to 250 l/min,
- effective mixing of the medium without the risk of foaming,
- automatic dosing of coating material to the day tanks in line with current demand,
- operator notification when the coating level in the intermediate tank drops below 300 litres.
System Design:

The system consists of:
- an intermediate tank with an integrated dosing station and HMI panel,
- an IBC transfer station,
- day tanks equipped with a basic operator control panel,
- a washings removal trolley.
Customer Benefits
- keeps the liquid continuously mixed and ready for application, without the risk of foaming,
- ensures fully automatic, independent feeding of each day tank with no operator involvement required,
- minimises the risk of overflow caused by human error,
- provides precise medium volume control with accuracy up to 10 litres in a 1,500-litre tank,
- offers convenient access to key functions from strategically located operator stations,
- supports quick and efficient removal of residual liquid and washings after equipment cleaning.
