22047 - Tilting platform for containers
Hydraulically operated crate tilting machine.
Intended use of the equipment
As part of the operator’s workstation, the lift provides the operator with ergonomic access to heavy workpieces transported in crates.
Description of operation
- The machine operates at the grinding station;
- a forklift truck places the crates onto the lift in a horizontal resting position;
- the operator uses a remote control to set the lift to the desired tilt angle;
- at any point during operation, pressing the panels on the edges of the lift causes it to stop immediately, preventing the risk of crushing.
Construction of the device
The machine frame is made of steel. On the hinge side, there is a limit switch with adjustable opening angle.
The lower edge of the platform is fitted with pressure strips that act as an emergency stop.
The entire control mechanism is concealed inside the machine under a folding cover, which protects it from contamination and prevents anyone from entering beneath the platform during operation.
The mechanism is controlled via a remote control using up/down buttons.
The platform can carry loads of up to 4,000 kg
Benefits for the customer / user
- ergonomic operator posture when removing/loading workpieces from crates;
- reduced time taken to retrieve workpieces for machining;
- reduced risk of workpieces falling out;
- remote operation via a hand-held controller;
- design capable of withstanding harsh operating conditions.
