The machine is designed for the precise dispensing of a specified dose of oil into car shock absorbers.

It is suitable for shock absorbers with an outer tube diameter of 38–62 mm and a length of 170–800 mm. The oil dispensing volume range is 20–800 ml.

Description of operation

The machine is operated by two operators. The operator on the loading side places empty shock absorbers into the slot(s) on the turntable. As the turntable rotates, the parts move from the loading station to the filling station, where a predetermined dose of oil is dispensed through a filling nozzle. The parts then move to the unloading zone, where the second operator removes them from the machine.

ROTARY TABLE

At the heart of the machine is the rotary table, built around a high-quality Fibro servo drive with a positioning accuracy of +/- 30". Due to the varying lengths of the shock absorbers, the height of the central plate can be adjusted. Up-and-down movement is achieved by means of an electric actuator. The position is set from the operator panel and can be saved for each reference. Special spring-loaded grippers holding the shock absorbers are mounted on the upper plate of the table.

OIL DOSING SYSTEM

The machine also utilises a top-of-the-range Bosch Rexroth Servo Motor servo pump. The amount of oil dispensed is measured by an advanced liquid flow measurement system, the so-called Coriolis flowmeter, Promass F 300. This device guarantees an accuracy of up to 2% of the set volume (which ranges from 20 to 800 ml).

Care has also been taken to ensure that the filling process itself is carried out in the most hygienic manner possible. The risk of dripping has been reduced by using a pneumatically controlled Bibus-Menos filling nozzle and safety measures in the form of: two drip trays around the machine and the tank, gutters around the table, and a drip tray beneath the nozzle.

INTERCHANGEABLE TOOLS

The machine can fill various types of shock absorbers thanks to the ability to swap sockets. These tools can be easily changed without the need for tools.

OPERATOR PANEL

The control elements and display allow the selection of the appropriate reference, monitoring of the process status, and control of the machine’s individual drives. The operator panel is mounted on a RITTAL arm, allowing it to be moved freely in all directions.

SAFETY LEVEL

In accordance with the customer’s guidelines and in compliance with the requirements of the PN-EN ISO 12100 standard, the machine is equipped (depending on the type of process being carried out) with a range of technical safety measures such as: an emergency stop switch, a light curtain, and mesh guards.
